Assassin’s Creed Mirage to Release on October 12

Ubisoft has announced that Assassin’s Creed Mirage will be released on October 12 for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and Microsoft Windows. The game will be set in 9th-century Baghdad during the Islamic Golden Age, and will follow Basim Ibn Ishaq (a character first introduced in Assassin’s Creed Valhalla) and his transition from street thief to fully-fledged member of the Assassin Brotherhood.

Assassin’s Creed Mirage will be a third-person action-adventure game with a focus on stealth and parkour. Players will be able to explore the bustling streets of Baghdad, scale tall buildings, and use a variety of weapons and abilities to take down enemies. The game will also feature a deep story that explores the themes of faith, freedom, and destiny.

“We are excited to bring Assassin’s Creed Mirage to players around the world,” said Yves Guillemot, CEO of Ubisoft. “This game is a love letter to the Assassin’s Creed franchise, and we can’t wait to see players explore the vibrant world of 9th-century Baghdad and experience Basim’s journey.”

Assassin’s Creed Mirage is currently available for pre-order. Players who pre-order the game will receive a number of exclusive content, including a new outfit for Basim, a new weapon, and a new story mission.
